The Philanthropy and Education (P&E) SIG is excited to offer graduate student awards to expand attendance of the CIES 2023 conference. All graduate student members of the P&E SIG whose abstracts have been accepted by the SIG are eligible to receive this grant.
 

Amount:
 

Three scholarships (USD 500 each) are to be awarded annually.
 

Use:

Students are free to use the scholarship for reimbursement of airfare, hotel, or conference registration. Awards are given based on the quality, relevance, and originality of abstract submissions received in relation to the subject matter of philanthropy and education. All applications will be reviewed and ranked by the P&E Grants Committee. 
 

Requirements:

1. The candidate must be enrolled in a graduate program.

2. The candidate must be a member of the P&E SIG.

3. The candidate must attend the P&E SIG Business meeting. Exception will be granted upon presentation and/or travel conflicts.

4. Award recipients will receive their funds on-site at the conference.

Following the acceptance of proposals to the CIES P&E SIG 2023 conference, award recipients will be notified by January 6.
